ICE Ignition provides replacement gears for its distributors in iron gear

If you change your cam shaft, you may need to change your gear. See our recommendations below:

If the cam is flat tappet hydraulic or mechanical, then we recommend an SG iron gear.
If it is a cast iron roller (eg Comp 8), then we recommend a hardened steel gear.
If it is a hardened steel billet, (eg Comp -9) then we recommend a silicon impregnated bronze gear.
Holden 6/Hemi 6 engines use a Nylon gear
